Egmont - We Bring Stories to Life

Piglet’s House

Piglet lives in a grand house the middle of a beech tree, which is in the middle of the Forest. Next to his house is a board with ‘Trespassers W’ written on it. Piglet thinks that this is short for ‘Trespassers William,’ which was his grandfather’s name.

Piglet is not fond of baths. He once pretended to be Roo and snuck into Kanga’s pouch. When Kanga found out she gave him a cold bath. Piglet didn’t much enjoy being clean so he rolled in mud the whole way home.

Now and then, Piglet can feel quite anxious. It’s hard to be brave when you’re a very small animal but sometimes being small makes him very useful – and when one’s useful, one forgets to be frightened. He was very brave when Owl’s tree fell down and he had to escape through the letterbox to fetch help. He did a Very Grand Thing that day.

Piglet thinks he saw a heffalump once, but he’s not sure.
Perhaps it wasn’t after all.
