Egmont - We Bring Stories to Life

Owl’s House

Revered by Winnie-the-Pooh for always knowing something about something, Owl lives in the grandest residence in the Hundred Acre Wood, with a particularly smart bell-pull (which transpires to be poor Eeyore’s missing tail).

Owl has Brain (not fluff), but has great trouble in spelling much longer words than his own name, ‘WOL’; though he has no problem saying long words that baffle his friends, who promptly stop listening to him.

Owl’s belongings are very precious to him, and he refuses to let his friends dispose of the dirty dishcloth he calls his shawl, or the bunch of toadstools he uses as a bath sponge.

On a very blustery day, on which Pooh and Piglet are visiting, Owl’s house – and the tree in which the house can be found – is blown over. But Pooh and Piglet soon find Owl a new home. He is a valued friend to all.
