Heffalumps & Woozles

Heffalumps
A Heffalump is a Very Large Animal whose Presence is felt in the Forest, but whose Actual Presence is Rarely Enjoyed. Heffalump is also used to describe any Large Animal whom you know to be lurking somewhere (and you are a little Cautious of meeting it, but at the same time you would so much like just to have a safe glimpse of it). Pooh and Piglet once made a Pooh trap for Heffalumps – and when they fell into a hole one day, they believed they must have ended up in a Heffalump Trap for Poohs!

Woozles
A Woozle is believed to be An Unfriendly Animal to most animals except Wizzles, with whom they share a passion for the outdoors, going around in pairs or small groups for long winter walks). A Wizzle is a Fierce Animal of Unknown Appearance and Temperament (not as common as the Woozle), so the term is used to describe any Animal of unknown Temperament, which is therefore assumed to be Fierce!
