Egmont - We Bring Stories to Life

My House

A. A. Milne’s young son, Christopher, born in 1920, was the inspiration for Christopher Robin, to whom Winnie-the-Pooh and many other inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood belong; in return, Christopher Robin’s friends look to him for help.

Christopher Robin enlists Piglet, Rabbit and Rabbit’s friends-and-relations to free Pooh when he gets stuck in Rabbit’s doorway; and he gently enlightens the silly old Bear on the existence – or rather non-existence – of Woozles.

Wearing his Big Boots, Christopher Robin leads a grand Expotition to the North Pole; he writes useful notices for Owl’s tree, and fixes Eeyore’s tail back on. He is always to be found at the centre of the most magnificent parties and picnics; none so poignant as the gathering he holds before he Goes Away, though he is certain to return . . .
